Brian J. Blackford BBlackford@pecklaw.net Brian J. Blackford joined Peck Law Firm in November 2009. Brian was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. He is a 2001 graduate of Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School and went on to graduate magna cum laude from Creighton University in 2005 as a political science major and philosophy co-major. During his undergraduate studies Brian was a congressional intern in Washington, DC in the United States House of Representatives. Brian graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 2008 with certificates of concentration in International and Comparative Law, Litigation, and Criminal Law and Procedure, becoming the first Creighton law student to earn three concentrations in the school’s history. While in law school, Brian received a CALI award for earning the highest grade in his Trial Practice course and he completed a 30-hour mediation training program through Creighton University and the Concord Center in Omaha. Upon graduation from law school, Brian was admitted to the Nebraska bar. Brian has been active in immigration law since 2007 where he is involved in a variety of immigration cases including removal/deportation, asylum/refugee, family, and business based cases. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
